SummerWood
is the natural area formed by the stream corridors of Jumping Brook and Hankins Brook, and consists of upland ridges, hillsides, diverse riparian woodlands and wetlands.  While SummerWood is rich in ecological diversity and historical interest, it also provides valuable open space, wildlife habitat, and the cleansing of our water and air. 

Situated adjacent to Summerfield School, SummerWood is an educational resource that is integrated with the school curriculum.   SummerWood is a unique and valuable resource for both the community and the school creating opportunities for children of all age to interact with nature.
